Things To Do Mount Tamborine

The Green Behind The Gold

Perched in the Gold Coast hinterland, Tamborine Mountain boasts some of the world’s most untouched, pristine rainforest. During your stay on the mountain, there are many activities we recommend for our guests.

Getting There

Two international airports service Hampton Estate Wines, ideally located just 50 minutes from Gold Coast International Airport and 70 minutes from Brisbane International airport.  For the self-drive market we are only 30 minutes from the major arterial highway (M1) linking Brisbane and the Gold Coast and beyond.

Central Point for Self-Drive

With famous Gold Coast beaches only a 40-minute drive and Byron Bay just 60 minutes away, we are a unique must-do destination for self-drive holidaymakers as a central point to explore what this magnificent region has to offer!

Away from the hustle and bustle of the city’s congestion, all major roads are easily navigable, with stunning scenery along the way.

Locals regard Tamborine Mountain as the ‘Green behind the Gold’ with numerous nature walks and lookouts as well as spectacular waterfalls, all within minutes of your accommodation.
